Technical Support Senior officer

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Technical IT Support Senior Officer to join our dynamic team and ensure the seamless operation of our IT systems within the manufacturing environment.

Job Summary: 

The Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Technical IT Support Senior Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support and technical assistance within our manufacturing facilities. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing IT systems related to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first and second-line IT support for hardware and software issues related to manufacturing systems.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability in the manufacturing environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all IT systems comply with industry regulations and standards, including FDA, GMP, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Installation & Configuration: Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrade of IT hardware and software related to manufacturing processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and support activities to ensure clear communication and record-keeping.
  • User Training: Provide training and support to manufacturing staff on IT systems and applications to ensure effective use and adherence to best practices.
  • Incident Management: Identify, escalate, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions in manufacturing operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and engineering teams to support system integration projects and implement technology solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to manufacturing execution systems (MES), laboratory information management systems (LIMS), and other related software.
  • System Improvements: Propose and implement improvements to IT systems and processes to enhance performance and support the company's strategic objectives.
     

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance Must have: Hands on experience in fixing and troubleshooting PCs, laptops, Printers, scanners…etc. 

 

  • Office 365 ( OneDrive , Teams , SharePoint , Mail ) + Local Exchange 

     
  • Ticketing system

Good experience in using ticketing system

Experience in ManageEngine (Preferable)
 

  • ITIL

Good understanding of ITIL v4 (Preferable)

Certified in ITIL v4 (Preferable)



 

  • Managing and Configuring Switches and Routers 

Good understanding and hands on experience in configuring and managing switches and routers

Experience with Cisco, Extreme, and Ruckus switches and routers (Preferable)

Certified in Cisco switching or routing such as CCNA (Preferable)
 

  • IP Phone Solution
     
  • Wireless Solution

Good experience in Wireless solutions 

Experience in Ruckus wireless solution (Preferable)

 

  • Backup Solution

Nice to have: Experience in Veeam Backup
 

  • MCSA – Windows Server 

 Good understanding of MCSA – Windows Server concepts

Certified in MCSA – Windows Server (Preferable)

 

  • MDM solution

 Good understanding of MDM solutions
