Quality Control Officer
Job Summary:
Ensuring that the products produced by the company meet certain standards of quality. perform tests on raw materials, finished goods, or both.
Testing the purity of chemicals used to produce a product or checking the accuracy of equipment used during production. identify any defects in a product before it reaches the customer.
Job Duties:
Performing physical tests on materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
Reviewing incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
Testing products for physical defects or chemical contamination using equipment such as spectrometers, microscopes, and titration devices.
Conducting analyses of materials to determine their chemical composition.
Evaluating manufacturing processes to ensure that they are consistent with established standards.
Interpreting test results and providing feedback to manufacturing staff to ensure they comply with regulations.
Reviewing production records to monitor the status of work orders and ensure safe working conditions in the lab.
Monitoring equipment performance to ensure it is operating effectively and efficiently.
Recording test results in computer databases or notebooks according to established protocols.
✓ Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Nutrition or another closely related field.
0-2 Years of Experience.
✓ Skills & Abilities:
Attention to details.
Communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and software.
