Job Description:
- Collecting and analyzing data about company’s operational costs.
- Setting standard costs of manufactured goods.
- Developing and analyzing cost standards.
- Defining various product manufacturing costs.
- Monitoring unit cost variance.
- Implementing cost standards for materials and labor.
- Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports.
- Reconciling raw materials, work-in-progress and finished-goods stocks.
- Analyzing manufacturing operations, equipment availability and utilization.
- Performing month-end cost accounting close.
- Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger.
- Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
- Participate physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CMA is a plus.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 1 - 3 years in related field.
- Accuracy & efficiency.
- Initiative & drive for results.
- Very good understanding of accounting principles.
- SAP system background is preferred.
- Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
- Details oriented.
- Planning & organizing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in addition to the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- MS Office skills.
- Business writing & reporting skills.
