Summary:
The candidate for this position will excel at negotiating deals & the terms of the contract. By using their in-depth market analysis. This person will use their expertise & market knowledge in following up with the local economic trends to highlight new opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Handling Ship Agency Matters in crew affairs, spare parts, repairs and equipment servicing, customs clearance & liaison with regulatory authorities when needed.
- Establish Market rapports to develop the trade in order to increase the market share.
- Coordinating Vessel Calls by ensuring that the productivity targets are met while keeping owners aware of the total sequence of events during the vessel call.
- Estimating port expenses by pre-identifying the vessel's needs and related costs.
- Expand control to manage risks by following procedures and maintaining standards.
- Conduct frequent client meetings.
- Analyze Freight Market.
Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree/ Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Job-Related Experience: 3-5 years of experience.
- English Language: Excellent.
- Interpersonal Skills: Very good communication skills, high level of confidence, ability to work under pressure, negotiation & problem-solving.
